Kindergarten

‘Kindergarten’ literally means the children’s garden.  At Inspired Kindergartens we provide a warm environment where children are nurtured and encouraged to actively discover and understand the world around them and to develop essential life skills.

Our fully trained and registered teachers are passionate about inspiring young minds and helping children realise their full potential.

Each one of our kindergartens is unique but they all share the same values.  When your child comes to one of our kindergartens, be rest assured they are getting the very best – from quality learning programmes to specifically designed outdoor spaces but most importantly fun!

Every child is an individual, having a unique personality and their own way of learning.  We believe in getting to know your child and provide a safe and caring environment to enable each child to thrive.

We are continually striving to be the best by providing a stimulating learning environment, by respecting others and their beliefs and by embracing family and community.

Our learning programmes are based on New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum; Te Whāriki and our Kindergartens care for children between 2 - 6 years of age.

The Ministry of Education provides 20 free hours of early childhood education a week for children over 3 years of age.  Inspired Kindergartens have extended this to 30* free hours a week for children from 2 years of age.

Please feel free to contact our kindergartens if you would like more information or a tour of their facilities.

Hours

Each Kindergarten has session times and hours to suit the community it is located in.  Typically, this is similar to school hours e.g. 6 hour sessions (also offer 3 or 4 hour sessions).  However, we do have some All Day Kindergartens that have longer session times.  Please contact the kindergarten to discuss your needs.
